On 30th March 2026, Floresta Tanzania, in collaboration with the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA), successfully conducted a workplace safety and health training for its staff at the organization’s office In Moshi.

The training aimed to strengthen staff capacity in understanding and applying occupational safety and health practices within their daily work environment. A total of 50 staff members participated in the session, gaining practical knowledge on how to perform their duties safely while minimizing risks associated with workplace hazards.

Facilitated by OSHA trainers, the session focused on key areas including workplace safety procedures, risk awareness and emergency response. Participants were also equipped with essential first aid skills to enable them to respond effectively in case of health related emergencies at the workplace.

This initiative reflects Floresta Tanzania’s commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for its employees while enhancing institutional capacity to comply with national safety standards.

The training marks an important step in integrating safety practices into the organization’s culture, ensuring that staff are not only productive but also protected in their working environment.
