In line with the World Environment Day 2026 theme, “For Climate. For Our Future,” Floresta Tanzania joined communities and stakeholders in commemorating the day through a series of environmental conservation and community engagement activities aimed at promoting climate action and sustainable environmental management.

Milestone achieved is 8,000 tree seedlings planted at the Mboreni Water Source in Masama Mashariki Ward under the Hai West Sub-Watershed, community clean-up campaigns at Shengena West in Malindi Hospital, Tae Secondary School , and Mwanga District Hospital in Usangi, as well as an environmental conservation seminar at Mwika Bible College.
The seminar, facilitated by Floresta Tanzania brought together 370 students and teachers, providing practical knowledge on environmental stewardship, climate action, and sustainable resource management.

Through these initiatives, Floresta Tanzania reaffirmed its commitment to healing the land and its people by restoring ecosystems, raising environmental awareness, and empowering communities to contribute to a climate-resilient and sustainable future.
