Floresta Tanzania has been honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Kilimanjaro Environmental Preservation (KEP) in recognition of its continued commitment and contribution to environmental conservation efforts in the Kilimanjaro Region. The award, presented on June 3, 2025, at an event held at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) recognized the organization’s role in promoting environmental conservation activities through a series of trainings and events which included the planting of 1,500,000 trees annually.
Receiving this award reaffirms the Floresta’s dedication to environmental stewardship which began in Kilimanjaro region since 2004 and strengthens its mission to transform lives through holistic conservation strategies.
